Converting From MYOB to Quickbooks

August 23rd, 2007 · 1 Comment · Bookeepers

An International Company has just taken over a business formerly owned buy our client, and they operate in Quickbooks. Can we transfer all the MYOB data to a Quickbooks file?

It’s like asking how to use an Apple Mac Software program on a PC. Fortunately there’s been a revelation in the world of computers, and you can now run MAC programs on PCs, and vica versa.

Writing this sitting in front of an IMAC we’re running windows parallels and have the option of running Windows Internet Explorer, and Safari web browsers simultaneously.

When will MYOB and Quickbooks offer a full file transfer capability? If anyone reading this knows how to transfer all the input data from MYOB to Quickbooks, then please let us know HERE

It’s reasonably straight forward to transfer all the customer, suppliers, and employees lists, at least MYOB and QuickBooks have worked that one out!

Now we’re faced with hundreds of invoices and receipts to manually enter into the Quickbooks software! The joys of bookkeeping! What Shall we do today? Oh that’s right, we’re converting a client from MYOB to Quickbooks

I am a QuickBooks consultant in New Zealand who has clients changing fro MYOB to QuickBooks 2008/9.
What transactions will your program transfer
How easy is it to use
    What will it cost
    Cheers
