There was a strange smell coming from the microwave - no matter how much it was cleaned - there was still a really odd smell. If radiation waves don’t put you off a microwave, then this smell surely would.
Sometimes bookkeeping is like that. You’re working through the MYOB figures, and something just doesn’t seem right. Your bookkeeper smells a rat! No matter where you look, or what reports you do, on the surface everything looks fine.
We decided the only option was to pull the casing off from the microwave, and see if we could find what could be the cause of the strange smell. There, tucked under part of the electronics, was a mouse, definitely deceased.
Most likely, it was well cooked, but who was game to find out? How could a mouse possibly squeeze inside the casing is beyond comprehension.
When your bookkeeper feels there’s something not quite right in your bookkeeping, you’ll suddenly find all the detective work coming into play. When your Gold Coast bookkeeper smells a rat, then take notice, because it’s amazing what the bookkeeper can find!
